Default Issues with Logo Developer

OK you guys. Will be the way you want. I just tried to save you from getting into the situation I got in, when I paid and got something else. What ever they wrote below is not true. They send me some other ones and it still wasn't what I asked. I think that if you can't do the order exactly as it is, you got to say it before charging your customers. This is my opinion.

Hi uswebportal,
I have no idea what went on but I did take a look at the site you pointed to.

It is a very nice looking site and looks like they have done some good logos. It is hard to understand what people are wanting and I would think $10.00 is very little when it comes to having to redo something like a logo.

I'm sure the charge is more to keep people in line and not to have to build 1,000 logo's then to try and rip someone off.

Sure Logos Response

Yes, there was a problem with this customer's order... The original logo that we designed for him was not what he had ordered.

Although the logo was completed and send to him in less than two days(we have a 3 to 7 day turnaround time normally), he chose to send a nasty email then make this posting instead of even letting us respond or make his order correctly.

This was my reply to the nasty email...

Quote:
Hi Alex,

I understand your frustration with the logo design that you received. I would be upset if I did not receive what I ordered. I am disappointed that you chose to post your frustrations on Web Pro News without giving us a chance to correct our mistake or understanding the user agreement that you agreed to.

Revisions are a charge for people who change their mind after design or were not specific about their instructions. This mistake was the fault of SURELOGOS, we strongly agree with you. We are happy to correct any errors that we make, we just don’t do free revisions on our lower priced packages... We would never make a profit doing 10 hours worth of work on a $25 logo. This is a general rule for our company that is needed for us to stay lucrative, not to take the money and run from our customers... That is not good business. Our goal is to make our customers happy so that we get good feedback and repeat business.

Unfortunately we are human creators, so mistakes do happen on distant occasions.

I apologize for the inconvenience and for our negligence with your instructions. Your logo design will be completed as soon as possible and sent to you upon completion.

Thanks again, and feel free to contact me anytime.

Sincerely,

Phil Barnhart

We then designed two designs and sent them to him. He email us and said that he would take this posting off, but he hasn't done it yet.

We are not out to rip anyone off. We do need to stay in business! Maybe he should have spent the extra money with one of our high-end packages instead of the $24.95 package...

The main reason that we were on WebProNews is that we had some questions about SEO and wanted our new site rated, not to get negative feedback!

Thanks for the comments, Janeth. It's refreshing to see there are some people out there that still has some common sense!

Default Sense

I do not agree With uswebportal method of bashing another company on here, yet at the same time I do not agree with bigdog97 comments made about the e-mail sent to him from the client..This is an issue to be kept within the provider and client, the comments you have just made about him sending a "nasty" e-mail were no need..this does not show good business, nor common sense...

This would be considered libel towards uswebportal as you are in a sense, not knowingly, saying he is a nasty person. This would be defamation of his character, and not a good business choice to do so..

All I am stating is that problems between the client and the provider should be kept between the client and the provider..

What both of you have done here has given yourself a bad image..

Thanks,

Here my qualified professional opinion.

Anyone that take a private matter into public view isn't without fault.

Any company that open themselves up to public scruntiny when a complaint has been made seem more honorable the than the compliant lets on.

That might seem one sided... that forever is the appearance here.

It matters not who is right or wrong, it only matters how the issue is resolved.

Public venues however cannot help either of you, go to court, forget it, or resolve it... but frankly WebProWorld membership are the wrong people to ask for a assistance in business and legal disbutes.
