For the entire time I've been analysing your example logo, the music to the old B'witched song had been coursing through my addled brain, along with its lyric, slightly modified to suit the occasion:

Oh Munky, you're so fine you're so fine you blow my mind, hey Munky (Hey Hey), hey Munky (Hey Hey).

I was so distracted by this stupid old bubble-gum song that when it finally dawned on me why I didn't like the text-logo, it was too late to be objective, or even coherent.

The "O" is too large and placed in such a way that this viewer was compelled to suspect that it's the Irish equivalent of Munky: O'Munky. The choice of font bothers me, maybe because it doesn't appear consistent with the ovate nature of the interface you've designed. The font seems a bit too angular, and the use of all upper-case letters makes it harder to read.

Well, you know the real reason I feel so negatively about your text-logo: it's because I've now got that idiotic teenybopper song stuck in my head, unrelentingly repeating itself.

I did like the color combination and the concept. But I dont think it goes that well for the logo. Try making it a bit simple, not including too much text.

I agree with Tikanet that the O with munky looks like Omunky, and the font should be consistent at max.

Good Luck!!

Well well well one more thing, your logo doesnt speak about what you do, which should be very much significant and specific enough.

Good Luck!!

I agree that the large "O" makes the name of your company look like "Omunky".
