Default Your Logo

the logo is simply type and dosen't say anything about what the business does as for the graphic in the background, it states that you may be involved in IT. Your logo is the first line of marketing and that people look at that and create an impression based on what they see. I would look at creating an icon type logo including what it is that you do. Need to know more of what it is that you do to give some constructive ideas.

Thank you Maun for reviewing my logo. Your feedback is what I was trying to achive. The area around the "simply type" is the area for other companys logos. True I wanted to keep it simple, because it gets busy with 9 smaller logos around it. It is suppose to have a beam of light coming down from above, behind the font. It started out as a large banner, but now use it sometimes even as a header. I just can't find the right font for the type and want a smaller height, but haven't found time plus it's on so many sites already. Correct the graphic protrails the IT arena and I change colors to match the websites font. Imaging isn't my strong point, and I don't have any heavy duty software packages to choose from, so I've settled with this and finally everyone has gottn use to it. It's not on our corporate pens or mugs or hammered in stone, so a new change wouldn't be the wave over New York City. I know outsourcing on a simple task as this could be mega bucks, and since I refer to affiliate logos, wasn't to concerned. Offline I'm in the petroleum industry, and run the same, flying their logos. Unocal and Chevron. If you have any suggestions or examples, I would welcome them whole heartly.
This was the original:
with the concept that my corporation takes it all down the road, river, etc. Once again, it started out as a banner.
