Default Wedding Pages Logo Selection Help!

I'd appreciate comments, good or bad on proposals our designer has put forward for a new logo, these are mainly just slight variations after we had whittled down to these from quite a large selection.
http://www.weddingpages.co.uk/logos.htm
They are just draft jpegs images which will apparently look sharper when on site.

They are in 2 columns down 4 in each so we'll call them column 1 1-4 and column 2 5-8.
I am particularly interested in what people think of the ideas/thought bubble,( I thought we could possibly animate the contents of that for the web?)
and our proposed new tag line at bottom. Any ideas for colours that might go well are welcome- (with hex codes if you have them)Personally I don't like the ones with green.

I welcome any potential fresh ideas for logo too, as nothing is set in stone yet and i want this to be spot on when we finally choose one.
We provide marketing services (lead generation, web site traffic via website and hardcopy directory listing) to wedding businesses and we offer a free information service to Brides/Grooms both on line and offline.
PS The site is due for a redesign to complement our new logo/branding. Take a look at this below too if you have time any ideas /thoughts on this would be welcome.

Thanks

Peter

My only suggestion would be to stay clear of the "paler" or "lighter" images. They might be harder to see for people with failing eysight or on dimmer monitors.

I'm not a big fan of the green logo either. I think the colors should be immediately recognized as common wedding colors.

The opposite is the case in Oz. Green and purple are very common colours with bridal companies these days. I would be leaning towards the darker green & purple logo.

Thanks for comments above, i suppose it's a case of personal preferences when it comes to choosing colours, I am just trying to find what the majority would prefer really, though it looks like tastes could possibly even vary from country to country judging by last post.
There is a slight different in choice of fonts for the wording, did you notice?
What do you think about the thought/idea bubble, I feel it gives it a fun element(which I suppose organising a wedding is meant to be!)
Not sure how this would look scaled down on a business card though
I think I might have to have the thoughts coming from the Brides head rather than the Groom though!

As a potential further element of the logo
I had thought about having the bride and groom presented on an open hand (side on view of hand),as we are providing our clients with leads from local couples due to marry this could signify that we were presenting them with the Bride and Groom so to speak and also that we are a helping hand from the couples point of view. Or am I trying to be too clever!

I'd really appreciate any futher feedback and anyone just even polling their vote.

Thanks
Peter

Default Flame Design

I like your logo. I agree with the 'green' comments. Reminds of the incredible hulk, the joker, godzilla -possibly a cultural thing, but these colours are generally used to market to young boys. I think the thought bubble is a tad too much detail and like you said, certainly wouldn't be coming from the man ;)
Personally I like 1-3 and 2-1. You matched all your colours up very well. An original concept is great, but try to take a reductionist approach. If any element doesn't add value, toss it.

Great work,

Grease
