Questions -- what does the company do that it represents (does the logo say somethng about them), where will you be using it and at what size e.g. what does it look like at about a tenth of that size? Right now it looks a little to ephemeral for my tastes.

Default It looks like a blood spot on a tissue or maybe a pad

I'm not holding back here, but that's what it looks like to me...why don't you have a picture of a joystick or something communicative???

Default Flame Design

Strip away all of the effects to get at the heart of your design. While filters are fun to play with, they cannot be a substitute for solid design. You may like to consider drawing out your concepts on paper first. Work on the concept first, and the creation second. Once you are pleased with a simplified logo in one colour then hit your computer and add subtle effects to enhance your logo - not take it over. Every style should have a specific purpose.

Best of luck!
