Default Wyoming Impressions.com

I'm not sure if I'm suppose to provide info here, or not, regarding my business. Briefly, at http://www.wyomingimpressions.com we are in the business of relationship building. We make positive impressions on behalf of our clients. The reason for "Wyoming" being in our company name is that we are located in Wyoming, and, at Christmas (our busiest season) Wyoming products are our top sellers.

So, with that, I'll end this and I look forward to reading your comments.

April

I like what you have but it requires some stability to be taken as a professional piece. There is some nice stylization going on with the mountain and sun.... but... introducting other rough and unkempt text elements only detracts from the style and causes dissonance.

I added an underline and a more stable mid serif font for a more structured base.... now your stylized "o" and "m" can shine.... :)

The tag line should be a separate message as it is your statement of integrity and purpose....

Of course... this is only MY opinion afterall....

Cheers,

Chris

Wow, thanks Chris. I agree. I find that jaggedy writing a little distracting as well. Well, I didn't realize that is what was bothering me, until you pointed it out.

I think the sun/mountain thing will work well around here. This is a pretty laid back state. Also, it will be easy to brand this logo, because I can actually sell it on souvenir items like T-shirts, mugs, etc (without the blurb about designing.)

Nice work Chartsky. You were really able to pull it all together.

As a general rule, we avoid using two decorative fonts in the same composition. The contrast between a strong/decorative/script typeface and a more simple typeface can be very powerful.

Take Care,
Grease
