Twitter for SEO - No Purpose for Twitter
I did not get Twitter and did not see a value in Twitter, especially when viewing it from an SEO viewpoint. But, as I wrote about in my latest article (No Purpose for Twitter) I have come to see a different viewpoint.

Flash, Progressive Enhancement and Google

Do dashes in your domain hurt your SERP?
I have a 3 word domain with dashes between them as so: my-domain-name . com
will search engines consider this spammy? will it hurt my SERP? I don't intend to tell anyone this domain over phone, nore do I even intend for someone to type this domain in their address bar. I don't really care if anyone remembers this domain or not, it's not a name of company or brand or whatever, and I already own mydomainname . com...

Age hurdle
I believe that old domains which are constantly updated with either new products or new information have an advantage over new domains in terms of high ranking. Are we agreed? I would like to ask if anyone else has noticed differences in the stated position of a website in Webmaster Tools and those in Google itself?I have one site in particular that generally ranks well for some quite competitive keyphrases. Ethics of knocking-off a competitor
A company was founded which looked at a new market where there was alot of growth. A B2B software as a service (subscription based web-application) offering was identified. There are a few competitors in the field. The company essentially used the best competitor as a "model" and copied most of the features. Well Optimized Website Can't Convert Traffic into Sales?
I am working for a client that has an ecommerce site (www.accessorygenie.com) and have been optimizing the site for the last 6 months. The site has jumped in organic rankings and traffic, yet still does not convert more than 5 sales a day.
