Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes, I couldn't say
it any better than how David Bowie belted it out
in his hit song. Changes, my
fellow WPW users is what's coming to World.
The word 'change' creates such a dichotomy with
people. Some embrace change, and find wonder in
trying something new. Others grab hold of the
old ways and don't let go. For the most part I'm
the prior, but have to admit there are times that
I stubbornly object change.
For WebProWorld, the change rearing its head will
manifest
as a brand new forum: Computer Assistance.
As the world of offline and online computing converge,
it's important to have a grasp on hardware and
software. For this reason, the Computer Assistance
forum has been born. Below are the different sub-forums
you can browse topics for...
Hardware
Networking
Operating
Systems
Web
Servers
Browsers
Programming
Security
Other
I hope that everyone is able to take
advantage of WPW's Computer Assistance Forum.
If you have any suggestions as to how we can make
the CA forum better, feel free to shoot an email
in my direction.
The ideas presented in the WebProWorld newsletter
editor's note do not reflect the thoughts, and
ideas of the WebProWorld community.

Search Engine Optimization Forum
Does a link in variable count as a direct link
Does a link that is in a variable still count as a link? For example, if you have
a banner ad on your website and when you hover over it,
you see the variable in the hyperlink
http://www.mywebsite.com?bfunction=c...herwebsite.com
Is this the same as a static link ie < a href="www.anotherwebsite.com>
Please let me know your thoughts.

Search tips for MSN
Most of the tips on search engines address google and sometimes google but I hear very little about MSN. It feels as if the freelancer and the small businesses ignore it eithre because it is just too corporate or simply irrelevant.
Are there any tricks or tips for getting the prime spots on MSN or is it just too full of big corporations to be worth the effort?

Question about the Google Adwords $20M Settlement
Hi, I got a message in my inbox this morning about a Google Adwords $20M Settlement. Saying that they didn't always abide by the daily speding limit. I did notice that at the end of the month our cost was slightly higher than our budget, but didn't think anything of it. Has this affected any of you?
I did a google search and read a little more here: Google Moves Closer To Paying $20M Settlement | WebProNews
I am wondering...
1) if anyone has more details on this,
2) how I find out if I qualify
3) what steps do I need to take.
