 Did everyone wear green today? I did! Of course, I can always use the "my eyes are green" excuse, which is true, I just don't think it counts. All the cities that dye their rivers green are pretty cool. Even the White House participates. :)
Our featured post today comes from incrediblehelp. He wants to know, what would be the best way to stop the engines from crawling a specific link on page other than using nofollow? He wants to do some tracking on URLs within a page that he wants to rank well. These URLs will lead to pages that are indexed and ranking fine. He doesn't want to track based URLs indexed along with the regular URL. Can you help? Click here!

 We Dont Want URLs Indexed!
What would be the best way to stop the engines from crawling a specific link on page other than using nofollow?
We want to do some tracking on URLs within page that we will want to rank well.
These URLs will lead to pages that are indexed and ranking fine. Obviously we don't want to tracking based URLs indexed along with the regular URL.
Any ideas from a Google Analytics point of view? I guess we can stick the URL in JavaScript that would hinder them from getting indexed.

Is link exchange BAD according to Google webmaster guidelines?
Somewhere I read: Excessive reciprocal links or excessive link exchanging ("Link to me and I'll link to you.") is to be avoided.
I'm confused, is link exchange is totally to be avoided? Then how one can build links according to Google?

I have helped my daughter to convert from Google Adsense to Clickbank Ads Sharing site for Share Video | Earn ClickBank Cash | Video Advertising With PayPal Payment as Google adsense income is very low nowadays.
But I am wondering if having Clickbank Sharing Ads would benefit in a long run for Video site.
Or is there a better sort of sharing advertisement that can benefit everyone including my daugher since it is a 50/50 or 40/60 sharing ads?

Determining Page's Content Relying On Other Linking Pages
Anybody knows if Google relies on page content to determine on which term/s to rank the page in destination link.
For example:
I have a page dealing with flowers (Page A)
In this page I wrote about flowers (title, headings, etc)
page A link only to Page B (the link has no text anchor).
Page B is a flash page (Google can't read the text).
Do you think Google can determine that page B is dealing with flowers, rely only on the source page (Page A)?
