So what do you all think about the woman with 14 kids? Was it wrong to have more? I think so. I really don't see how anyone can enjoy that many kids. I would be constantly stressed I think. I'm not sure if she did it for money or she isn't quite right, but either way hopefully it all works out, for the kids' sake.

Our featured post today comes from incrediblehelp. He has a client that has recently updated some page names. They have 301 redirected the old URLs to the new ones properly, but are hesitant in investing the time in changing the internal links (navigation, etc.) to match these new URLs. Instead, they feel they can just leave the redirects in place and everything will work out. Incrediblehelp doesn't agree. He explained why he doesn't agree but the client wants proof of why they need to change the links. incrediblehelp is looking for any advice and evidence you can help him with. Click here!

As for the remaining posts, the first needs help with Serif Page PlusX3. The second ask for help on understanding CSS . The third is having problems getting TinyURL links to work.

Why Do I Have To Change Links?

Why Do I Have To Change Links?
Here is a good one.

I have a client that has recently updating some page names. They have 301 redirected the old URLs to the new ones properly, but are hesitant in investing the time in changing the internal links (navigation, etc.) to match these new URLs. instead they feel they can just leave the redirects in place and everything will work out.

Obviously I don’t agree. I told them how your website internally links to itself is a huge deal and even with the redirects in place letting the search engines know that changes have happened you still need to change your internal navigation and other links to match these changes. Basically they said prove to me why I need to.

So folks what should I show them in as far as evidence? Any old threads, blog posts from top SEO experts that can explicitly tell them they need to do this?

Site for Review http://dev.learn-classical-guitar.com/

I was hoping that I could get some feedback on a new site I'm going to launch in the next few months:
There's no content yet, so I'm just looking for feedback on the design/layout.

Serif Page Plus X3 for E-Newsletters Does it work?

Hello, new to this so excuse if not what you are all used to!

Started using Serif Page PlusX3 to send out newsletters via HTML to people on our mailing list via email. Most seem to get it ok, but there are also quite a few who respond saying all the pictures/text is all over the place and when they reply it shows a complete load of jumble!!

Spoke to Serif who just said it was those few using non-outlook email programs, but a couple of the errors have come from those using outlook. Their next advice was to send as a picture, but then the links wouldn't work so not very helpful!

Is it just their settings are set not to accept HTML?

Any ideas would be appraciated, or am i just using the wrong program?

MediaWiki and TinyURL

I've been MediaWiki it on one of my sites for awhile, but there's a lot I don't understand. For anyone who may be using MediaWiki, here's a question for you:

How do I white list Tinyurl?

I want to use TinyUrl links to promote my website in Twitter (where long links won't work). Unfortunately, my wiki site's default settings block any incoming TinyUrl links. I first thought it might be an .htaccess issue, but MediaWiki doesn't appear to use .htaccess.

I have no idea how to get TinyUrl off the blacklist. I don't know where the blacklist is! I've started searching through the help files and Google, but I'm in over my head.
