WebProWorld Members,

I saw this link about "Dirtiest Jobs" on MSN and figured it looked interesting enough to check out. So I did. And of course, I probably shouldn't have. The first few paragraphs probably relate to everyone that's reading this. It talks about the amount of germs on desks. Pretty nasty huh? Well on we go with the update... (Then cleaning my desk!) ;)

Our featured post today comes from inertia. He has been thinking about doing a bit of travelling for a while now and he is finally starting to get some plans and savings in place to do so. He is reluctant to give up his 9 to 5 job. But, he does some sideline seo/marketing for some extra money and would like to keep that going while traveling. Has anyone had any experience doing this? Click here!

As for the remaining posts, the first wants to add value to his career and take some steps towards management. The second has some questions about optimizing keywords. The third discusses problems with Twitter.

Shall I Become A Traveling SEO?

Shall I Become A Traveling SEO?
Hi people... I've been thinking about doing a bit of travelling for a while now and im finally starting to get some plans/savings in place to do so. I have a 9 to 5 which i'll be reluctantly have to give up. But I do some sideline seo/marketing for some extra beer money and I'd like to keep this going whilst im globe trotting.

Has anyone had any experience doing this? How do you find working whilst "on the road". Should i use a laptop or keep everything in the cloud? I can see advantages for both! Do client relationships suffer? etc etc....

Just after a few opinions or experiences really...

Certification To Add Value in Professional Career?

I am a senior software engineer having around 3.8 years of experience in lotus notes technology in development & production support of web & client based applications.

I want to do some kind of certification which will help me to move ahead into project management and which will add a value to my professional career so as to take a step into management.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

I've made some improvements to my website digex.com.au. Thanks to those who responded to my previous question.

I know it will take some time for these changes to have an effect, but now I have some other questions.

Probably the two most important keywords that I want to optimise are "appointment" and "diary", and I am wondering what is the best way to go about this. I've given it some thought, but just don't really know enough about the ins-and-outs of search engines to know what would work best.

Is Twitter A Scam?

I use twitter just to build business relationships

I just happened to log in yesterday, 1/30/2009, and came across the following message on the account:

"This account is currently suspended and is being investigated due to strange activity.

If we have suspended your account mistakenly, please let us know. See Suspended Accounts for more information."

I sent an email to "suspended@twitter.com" and have not received a reply.
