WebProWorld Members,

Did everyone have a good weekend? Mine was about as much fun as I expected. Didn't get as much done as I wanted but there's always next weekend right? ;) We are supposed to get a big winter storm in tonight, and of course I am not looking forward to it. Where I live in Kentucky is apparently right on the line that gets the rain, snow and ice all in one package. Fun times! On we go...

Our featured post today comes from iqbal. He has a website which is now well placed in its desired keywords on Google. Now, the site will be going through a complete renovation in terms of design and development. He has some concerns. First he says, as the new site will have a different navigational structure, the currently indexed pages will show an error 404 once the new site is up... How does he handle this? Also, will he be able to retain the rankings for the new site? Read the rest of the post and see if you can help! Click here if you know!

As for the remaining posts, the first needs to find a good SEO rebate fulfillment company. The second has some questions about RSS Applications. The third has is looking for ways to find writers.

How To Maintain Old Rankings For NEW SITE

How To Maintain Old Rankings For NEW SITE
I have optimized a website which is now well placed in its desired keywords on google. Now the site will be going thru a complete renovation in terms of design and development...the site was static before and will be completely dynamic now...

I have three concerns

1) as the new site will have a different navigational structure, the currently indexed pages will show an error 404 once the new site is up...How do i handle this???

2) will i be able to retain the rankings for the new site keeping in mind that an SEO module will be used that will help me to control the metas, the titles and urls...

3) How do i place the google analytics snippet as the site will be developed in php using just one page... i.e. the root folder will have only one page index.php and content will keep populating from the db...(im not a dev by the way)

I hope i have made things clear out here....will appreciate your valuable advice.

Site for Review http://fixmycabinet.com/

Please take a look at my first Wordpress blog related to many things having to do with broken cabinetry. I am pouring almost thirty years of experience into this one. Specifically, I am wondering what you think about my monetization techniques for making money with this blog.

A Good RSS Application & LOTS of Instructions

I want to learn about RSS Applications, which is the best to use and how to use it. I need to find very simple explanations for this, as I find quite often instruction writers assume I know a lot that I don't have a clue about. So:

1. In your opinion what is the best application

2. an on line step by step instruction page for a complete beginner.

OK, Now I Am The One Who Needs Help.

Ok, so here is my situation. I have a client who has had my company doing the design for their website SayItAloud and my design team has been going full board on it. I liked the idea of it and started putting articles in there myself. If an advertiser sponsors it, the writer gets paid half the money. I did the math and it was around $140 dollars per article if a writer gets picked up. Not bad considering I usually don't make more than $40.00 for my own works for my clients.

Well here is the problem. They came to me yesterday and told me that they wanted my company to do all the marketing for them. Nobody had even told me or my department that they were even considering it. So in a frantic daze I went online to look for writers and all I could find was a bunch of websites that wanted writers. If I had a couple of weeks I could probably do it myself, but they wanted writers yesterday and I figured I better come on here and ask for ideas from you guys.

Where are some of the best places for me to find writers? Was thinking baout the colleges, but I would have to print flyers and distribute them out to all the schools.
