Once again, I have to express how much I hate the cold weather. You all know that by now. Well, I guess I am pretty lucky I don't live further north. Here is a picture of a firefighter in Massachusetts. Pretty crazy huh? I wouldn't survive in that kind of cold. It is only 12 degrees here and I hate it! I can't imagine the below zero temps!
Our featured post today comes from richatvns. Rich says he is a manufacturer who can produce on a short notice. He got handed an excellent product that is time sensitive in marketing. In fact, the initial master product for the pictures won't be available till tomorrow afternoon and in less than a week, it needs to be visible to capitalize on it. Besides a Google Awords campaign, he would like some suggestions on how to quickly get the word out. Click here!

 I Have An Experiment To Run...
Here's the thing because I am a manufacturer who can produce on a short notice, I get offers like this one all the time and would like to check out marketing/sales methods and quantiify the results.
I just got handed an excellent product that is time sensitive in marketing and short time frame critical.
In fact the initial master product for the pictures won't be available till tomorrow afternoon and in less then a week it needs to be visible to capitalize on it.

Besides a google adwords campaign I would like some suggestions on how to quickly get the word out.
I can embed tracking info into any links I distribute to do post effort analysis and would be willing to post
all the tracking info and roi information here on the this thread. This way we can check out the effectiveness of the suggestions.

I *think* this is probably the forum to post this in...
Does anyone have any software they would recommend for CRM?
After all, once you get more than about 5 customers - it becomes a bit of a burden trying to keep in touch with them all and keep yourself up to date with what they need to be billed etc etc.
NB - I have used Sage ACT! in the past and would not use it again if you paid me $20,000! (In case anyone suggests that)...

Twitter Question
Does anybody know of a twitter plugin that I can use on my forum? I am to upgrade the phpBB software.
I should like to have the same for WPW, since much of my activity is here.
If no to the above two, is possible to use my FireFox (social) bookmarks that is saved on delicious ?
These bookmarks are updated on FaceBook via FriendFeed, so that may be another solution.

Can You Recommend a Tell a Friend Script?
We have a great product for organizing kids' Lego that has great word of mouth and we want to look at ways of improving our online viral marketing efforts in 2009.
To start with we are searching for a decent user friendly "Tell a Friend" script to include on our web site and also one that we can include in our email marketing and autoresponders.
It doesn't necessarily need to be a "free" script, just one that you have used and can recommend and hopefully doesn't infringe the"spam" laws. If you have any other viral marketing tips we would love to hear them?
