WebProWorld Members,
I'm sure you all have heard about how there is going to be record numbers at Obama's Inauguration right? This morning, on the TODAY Show, I saw where people were selling rooms in their house and spots on their lawns just for people to get the chance to be there during the whole thing. I think it is crazy. The prices for hotel rooms or just for sleeping on someone's floor are in the thousands! Well anyways, on we go... :)
Our featured post today comes from webnauts. He is wondering if Google is messing something up again. He says he checked his Google Webmaster Tools under sitemaps, how many pages of his site have been indexed and he got this: Total URLs: 34. Indexed URLs: 33. Then he did a search for the site operator site:seoworkers.com and got about 143 pages, which he doesn't even have that many on the server. When he checked that manually, he doesn't get any more than 31 pages. Read the rest of the post and see if you can help! Click here!
As for the remaining posts, the first needs to know how to make specific meta tags in a Dreamweaver template. The second has a question about Google's terms of service. The third needs help with an audit trail.

Is Google Broken?
I was wondering if Google is messing something up again?
I checked in my Google Webmaster Tools under sitemaps how many pages of my site have been indexed and I got this:
Sitemap stats
Total URLs: 34
Indexed URLs: 33
Then I made a search for the site operator site:seoworkers.com and I got displayed about 143 pages which I do not even have so many on the server. When I check that manually I do not get any further than 31 pages.
Then I made a search with site:seoworkers.com -inallurl:seoworkers.com and I get about 37 pages. When I check that manually I do not get any further than 31 pages.
What do you think about all this? Am I missing something or does Google want to drive me nuts?

Graphics & Design Discussion Forum How To Make Page Specific Meta Tags In Dreamweaver Template??
I need some help. I designed it using dreamweaver and have a template for it. However, when I designed it I didn't realize the importance of SEO. I want to make it so that I can put individual Meta tags on each page but when I put them in the template, they are all the same and grayed out when I check the source of the pages.
So basically, what I'd like to do is put some kind of editable tag in the template, which is in the head and not in the visible part of the page. Does anyone know how I can do this?
Any info on how to make this happen would be great!!!

Google Discussion Forum Is This A Violation of Google's TOS?
Ok, question to the great minds of WPW.
I have been looking at what constitutes Black Hat SEO for some time now and cam across something I was curious about.
I was at a website that allowed users to purchase back links within their articles. The website is text based and has a ton of information on an incredible amount of information. They allow you to purchase a backlink based on a keyword phrase that you choose. The one that got my attention was about website design and the keyword phrase I would be interested in is in this article. I can purchase the back link rights to that keyword phrase as little or as much as I want on their website. It turns the text from standard text into a relevant anchor tagged back link.
Would this be a violation of the big G's terms of service or did someone find a loophole here?

Database Discussion Forum Struggling With Audit Trail
I have created an audit trail to record the creation of a new list of selected categories against a newly created service provider.
The problem I am having is that it is only posting the first record to the database table even though I have included the audit trail within the foreach statement. The same audit trail has worked fine in other areas of the database, but this is the only one where I have used it in relation to an array and a foreach statement so am wondering if I am doing something wrong with that.
