I have a couple of geeky, but cool things to share with you today. First up, YouTube video. Second, this PC. Crazy huh? Wonder how long each of those took? I wouldn't mind having a PC that was different or that fit my decor. I should start designing them! Hmmm. Maybe in the future, but for now it is back to work! :p
Our featured post today comes from realbeard who has a customer that asked him to optimize a website that has a problematic physical structure.
The home page is a splash page that gives the visitor the choice of three aspects of the customer's work. This page is the only page in the root directory. Each of the three aspects of the customer's work is in its own folder inside the root, and each has an index.html page making each of these aspects seem like a mini-website with its folder.
Since the splash page (with virtually no content) is the only page in the root, does this hurt the ranking of the pages in the subfolders? Does it put limits on the page rank you can achieve in the sub-folders?

I have a bunch of questions about this structure.

Page Can't Be Spidered??
I have been checking GG Analytics and used a couple of utilities and they are saying that this page can't be accessed due to "Robot Text". I never put any of that in the page and the rest of the items within the same section are fine.
Can someone take a look at this page and clue me in about how to find this robot text that is blocking the page from GG and maybe other engines?

Page Not Fully Loading Unless Refreshed
Greetings fellow webmasters.
I am experiencing a bit of difficulty with one of my websites and I am hoping that some fresh eyes may help.
The site is Junk Removal Arizona, Junk Removal Phoenix, Junk Removal AZ. What is happening is, the index page is not fully loading on arrival. It only loads if the page is refreshed. Can someone take a look and see if you can see the problem?
