Our featured post today comes from jordanmcclements who is in Google local listings, but wants to know how to get into MSN and Yahoo. Jordan found a page that allows you to submit to MSN local - but it only seems to work for sites in the USA. He contacted infoserve who do Yahoo local listings and they said some drivel about Yahoo picking this up automatically from the natural results. Can you help Jordan out? Click here!
As for the remaining three post, the first wants to know if Coca-Cola is buying links. The second wants to know which is better, Yahoo Site Explorer or Google Webmaster Tools. And the third wants some advice on changing domain names.

 Local Listings
I am in Google Local listings and very happy with this.
My question is, how on earth do you get into the local listings for MSN and Yahoo?
I found a page that allows you to submit to MSN local - but it only seems to work for sites in the USA.
I actually contacted infoserve who do Yahoo local listings and they rang me and said some drivel about Yahoo picking this up automatically from the natural results...?

Earlier this year I had my webhost overhaul the look of my site.
I have an SEO firm helping me build traffic, which is coming along fine.
My ongoing concern is how long people stay on the site and what is a rather low on-site conversion rate.
Any comments/suggestions on the look/feel/user friendliness/etc. would be highly appreciated.

Coca Cola Buying Links?
Google seems to be against the whole pay per post blogging thing.
Coca Cola handpicked 9 prominent bloggers, custom made their homepage and gifted them a fancy USB mini fridge with the new product to be tested.
Where’s the Buzz: Coca Cola’s “Rent a Blog” Strategy
I am sure Coke is doing it for the publicity and not for the backlinks, however, these guys were still paid to blog about a product and Coke received a link back for the gift.
Did Coke just buy backlinks?

Yahoo Site Explorer vs. Google Webmaster Tools
I always use Yahoo Site Explorer to check out a sites backlinks.
After checking out a site this morning i started to have doubts about the effectiveness of Yahoos back link checker. So i compared the results to a few of our clients Webmaster Tools results and there were SOME differences but in general by no more than 10 links.
SO! My question is people, which do you trust more, Yahoo or Google? Also, how do you find out backlink info for competitors sites?

URL changing
I have just entered into this discussion forum and have a question on you guys.
I would like to change a domain name from "slovakiafamilytours" to "slovakiabesttours" because I originally wanted to be focused on families but now I am focused on every travel groups ( older, young people...), offering wide selection of services..
I have heard that google does not like in the domain words like "best"..or other superlatives...
Is this true ? Can anybody put some light on it ? Any comments & advice is highly appreciated.
