WebProWorld Members,
Can you believe it is about to be June?! That also means it is going to be officially summer before too long. To me, that means lake season and I can't wait to get out there on the boat or dock or somewhere close to the water. I am ready to catch some fish, and get a tan at the same time of course. ;)
Our featured post today comes from fortune68, who wrote an article on ezine Articles, and now would like to make that article into a new web page within her website. Can she just use the exact the same article content and create a web page, or would that be seen as duplicate content by Google and would it harm the website's PR? Do you know? Click
here!
As for the remaining three post, the first wants to know what content does Google index. The second needs help with noindex pages. And the third has a question about using multiple domains.

Unique Content - Article and Website
I have just written an article on ezine Articles (Beach Decor - The Basic Rules To Get It Right) which points to my main website (Beach Theme Home Decor).
Now I would like to make that article into a new web page within my website, as I think it has a lot of value for my site.
Can I just use exactly the same article content and create a web page (with pictures and affiliate links etc) - or would that be seen as duplicate content by Google and would it harm my website's PR?

Google Discussion Forum What Content Does Google Index?
When a GoogleBot visits a site, what code is actually being viewed and indexed? Is it the raw html, for example, or the html that is presented through a browser?
More to the point, are the bots indexing the css code, if the stylesheet is external, or what I would see if I did a View Source?

Search Engine Optimization Forum Do Noindex, Follow Pages Carry Weight?
I'm considering choosing to prevent a page from appearing in the SERPs via either robots or meta. My issue is that I don't want this removal from the SERPs to devalue the benefits given to the links leaving the site.
Does anyone know if have a page removed from the index, but still allowing the follow would affect the links (in particular those to external sites)?
Thanks in advance.

Search Engine Optimization Forum Using Multiple Domains
I was reading yesterday's featured post and got to thinking about my own situation. I was thinking about using my primary keyword in the domain name but it's not great for a permanent business domain to advertise.
As such, we are considering using the keyword domain name as the primary domain with a vanity domain that we can use in advertising (we would use a 301 redirect).
What do you think about this practice? Worth it or no? Am I giving myself an identity problem if I do this? Will I be confusing visitors that end up at a different domain than the one advertised?
