So you guys are probably used to my random ed's notes by now. Well, now I have another one for ya. I saw this on the TODAY show earlier. Here is a picture if you would rather see it. Crazy huh?! Mike believes it is just photoshop, but, I am convinced it is real. It was on the TODAY show after all. :) What do you think?

 Google No Longer Liking Directories
Over the years I've built up a strong list of web directories. Every time I launched a new site, I'd submit to all of them, usually giving my site a PR 4 or 5 a few months later (plus a few links from my current sites).
Now google seems to hate directories and link exchange pages. I've seen almost all my sites drop from PR5 to PR4 or 3. My only PR6 has dropped to PR5, I'm worried it'll go lower 
Before someone says it, I know that PR isn't all I should be worried about, but I've got the other stuff covered and it's PR that is now my problem.

I believe I have this optimized quite well! It is a new site, I did some work on placing about 20 directory links, and have the PR up to 2. Not too bad for some moderate effort for a new site. Please feel free to let me know if I can do anything better! Thanks so much.

Form Spam Help Needed
I need some help and have a few questions most of you will know the answers to but as I am not code minded I need the simplified versions please so nothing too technical.
I am receiving some spam emails through some of my contact forms, I don't have a blog or comments page where you can add to, just contact forms for visitors to submit information for a quote and a form to submit to my directory.
I suspect this is not being done manually but by a spambot as the information will not be added until I check it.
My forms are all on html pages using cgi and formmail.

How To Optimize Database Pages?
We have a site www. body--jewelry .com and the pages for the products are generated from a template and populated with the products in our database.
At the moment the search engines are giving rankings for the first page within a catagory (1st click from homepage). All the pages after that basically look like similar/duplicate pages to the search engines i would imagine so im trying to find out how people optimise these pages which look similar in a catalogue? How can we add some flexibility?

Any Ideas About This Sites Disappearance?
Can someone please take a look at my mates site Designer Menswear, Designer Womenswear, Mens Casual Clothing - Cribs Clothing
Its totally dropped off the Google SERPS in the last few months. He does ok on Yahoo/msn still.
I know he's spent a lot of money on irrelevant links and has spent no time building relevant ones but he doesn't even come up for his company name. The only thing he does appear for is the URL.
