WebProWorld Members,

Today, I read about the massive cyclone that hit Myanmar. It's just awful. So far, there are 22,000 dead with that number rising every day. Myanmar has a strict policy on international aid which means they won't accept money and other needed things from all of the countries willing to donate. Very sad to me, especially when your country and people need help so much. A little bit of good news though; Myanmar appealed for foreign aid as of Monday, so hopefully things will start to look better there.

Our featured post today comes from lightyear, who seeing strange results in Google. He says his key phrases show up as different rankings in google.com and google.co.uk. Can anyone explain what's happening? Click here!

As for the remaining three post, the first has questions about spider tracking analysis. The second needs help with javascript code issues. And the third wants to know if you have noticed anything odd with Adsense today.

Strange Results in Google
Strange Results in Google

Our site Rackmount Servers | Storage Servers | Rack Mount Server Storage Solutions is hosted in the USA.

I have some strange results when I type in some key phrases.

When I do a search in google.com for the term intel rackmount servers we show up in position 31 out of 1.55m results. When I do the same search on google.co.uk and only select the web (not .co.uk) we show up as #1 and #2 out of 1.55m results. Even if I do the same search in google.com.au we are in position #2

This is not the only search term this happens for example using the search term storage servers we are in position 76 on google.com but are in position #3 when using google.co.uk and selecting the web.

Please tell me how you think of this site. I don't know why the bounce rate is always over 60%. Any comments or ideas would be much appreciated!

Spider Tracking/Analysis

Anyone know of a good third party tool that does good spider analysis and tracking? Google Analytics doesn't have any since it is JavaScript based. Click Tracks is limited an pretty poor in my opinion.

I would like to be able to view the spider activity of any of my URL's on my website over a long period of time. Seems simple enough but I have yet to find a tool that can help me with this.

h1 and javascript code issues

I have started SEO work on a new client and although the site has been built well there are some issues which i need some advice on.

The first thing i noticed was the h1 tag looks like this:
Code:
<h1>Email <span class="second">Marketing</span></h1>
Will this be diluting the strength of the h1 title tag at all? Have the spiders got the intelligence to see this as "email marketing"?

Google AdWords/Google AdSense
Adsense Acting Funny Today

Guys I was wondering if anyone is noticing some odd behavior from adsense today.

My adsense stats are not updating today, and the same with click stats. Very odd. I have been using adsense for over 3 years and this is the first time I have had this happen.

Anyone else noticing this?
