WebProWorld Members,

Is anyone celebrating Cinco de Mayo today? In case you need to brush up on your history of Cinco de Mayo, here is the Wikipedia definition. I am thinking about having margaritas and quesadillas for dinner tonight. Sound good? Of course, I am from the United States, but I am always up for celebrating if food and drinks are involved. ;)

Our featured post today comes from compugeneration, who is looking into the Google Advertising Professionals Program. He wants some feedback from any users that have experience in this program, and if it has helped your business in any way? If you can help, click here!

As for the remaining three post, the first has questions about Flash 8 Pro Slide Presentations. The second has a question about SEO and Flash. And the third needs help with his forms.

Program Worth It?
Is The Google Advertising Professionals Program Worth It?     Photo credit: Google.com

I am currently looking into the Google Advertising Professionals program.

I understand the details of the program. The main points being the 90 day ad spend of $1000+, $50 exam fee, and the 100 question 1.5 hour exam.

I would like some feedback from any users that have experience in this program.

Has it helped your business in any way?
Qualified Individual or Qualified Company?
Did the study tools / exam help you expand your knowledge of Adwords or PPC marketing?

Any other comments or feedback is greatly appreciated.

Site for Review http://www.sunblest.net/

I have an office leasing business in Tampa Florida. I receive 80% of my business from the street-sign, 10% from word-of-mouth & 10% from loopnet.com (a commercial real estate website).

Flash 8 Pro Slide Presentations

I'm trying to figure out how the "slide presentations" feature works in Flash 8. It has the look and feel of PowerPoint, and almost seems like I can build a slide show without ever looking at the timeline. The "presentation" slide seems to be the place holder for the next and back buttons, but I'm confused about how these buttons are different from any other type of button that belongs in its own layer on the timeline.

Has anyone worked with the slide presentations feature? Read Replies

Question About SEO and Flash

My most recent site has been up and running for a couple of months now and can be found at Vancouver Industrial Painting My goal is to make it to one of the first three positions of the organics.. right now...it is in fact #1 in the organics for the search I was targeting..."vancouver industrial painting".

I always thought that flash sites didn't get indexed well...just by virtue of the fact that they were flash.

Pretending for a moment that the above statement is true...was I able to get to number one so fast *because* the url is the same as the search....and for whatever reasons flash sites dont index so well .. I was able to overcome this alleged hurdle...again...because the domain name is exactly the same as the search?

Forms

I wonder if there is anybody there that can help me with a problem?

I am positively not very knowledgeable about forms etc. and a colleague, a couple of years ago, set up a form system for me which worked very well based on dbmasters. Recently I noticed that I was no longer receiving any forms back, and with my limited knowledge, started to try and work out why. It would appear, I think, that somebody or something has got in and changed parts of the code.

Is there anybody who could have a look at the code I am trying to use that does not work, and please advise me of what are the parts that were changed?

I did have a quick look at dbmasters system and unfortunately with the best will in the world, I am not knowledgeable enough to use his system to repair whatever is wrong with the old system - which until recently worked perfectly.
