WebProWorld Members,
Are you all ready for the weekend? I sure am. My plans to go to Keeneland have been altered due to all this rain Kentucky is having. Of course, it was pretty all week when I had to be inside and wasn't able to go. That's the way it goes I guess. I'm sure Monday it will clear right up again... hehe. Well, hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Get outside and enjoy it if you can! :)
Our featured post today comes from caravan, who has a few questions about the SEO consequences a of a website relaunch. The existing site is well placed on the search engines for their chosen search terms and is bringing in traffic and sales. But, the client wants to move the new website onto a new domain. He wants to consider all options before telling the client what should be done. Can you help? Click here!
As for the remaining three post, the first wants to know if you pay for a review is it a paid link directory? The second has a question about an white text. And the third needs help reviewing his site on a Mac.

SEO Consequences Of A Website Relaunch
The company I work for has been working on the rebranding of a series of websites for a new client. I have been asked for some advise on the potential pitfalls they need to be aware of with regard to the implementation of one site in particular.
The existing site is well placed on the search engines for their chosen search terms and is bringing in traffic and sales. However the clients wants to move the new website onto a new domain as this is part of their rebranding exercise to bring all the different elements of the company under one umbrella. They have expressed concern that with the launch of the new site they would like to minimise the impact of any possible loss of rankings as the summer is approaching and historically their busiest period of the year.

Other Engines/Directories
If You Pay For A Review Is It A Paid Link Directory?
I am totally confused about the status of directories as far as helping promote any given site. I do understand that content is king and that IBLs and blogs are all part of the SEO mix. What is confusing me is how some directories have lost their - dare I say it - PoweR as far as the search engines are concerned.
I watched last year with great interest when Mr Cutts told the world that Google would be "doing something about paid link directories" - what is the definition of a paid link directory and who decides what is good and what is bad?
Surely Google is the biggest one, with their Adwords programme.
Why do some directories have PoweR and others lose it?

Graphics & Design Discussion Forum White Text
A customer is telling me that "he heard" that when you use white text on a website the search engines consider it spam potential, and it can hurt your rankings.
The white text is on dark backgrounds, it is not on white backgrounds.
Is there any truth to this?

Submit Your Site For Review Mac Review Needed Please
I just purchased a MacBook, and am dismayed at how my site looks on it. The first page is fine, but when I click on one of the categories, everything's misaligned. Is it just my machine, or is that on everyone's Mac computers? I'd appreciate it if any of you mac users would give it a lookover.
In addition to the review, I'm looking for someone expert with Wordpress for Mac to help me download the software and work through any glitches. Does anybody out there consult? Msg me.
