Hey guys, so I was looking through the breakroom on the forum and this post caught my attention: Does anyone else suffer eye strain? I'm guessing most of you reading this newsletter spend a lot of time looking at computer screens so anything to improve eye straining and headaches is worth a look. Hope it helps! :)
Our featured post today comes from handcrafteduk, who is trying to get a site indexed well in the Google UK searches. Would it be better to submit to a directory based in the USA which has a good PR and lots of backlinks or, a directory in the UK which has half the PR and backlinks of the US site? To give your expertise, click here!
As for the remaining three post, the first needs more help with a 301 in bound link. The second has a Php error. And the third needs help with an HTML problem.

 UK or USA Directories... Does it matter?
I am trying to get my site indexed well in the Google UK searches. I am looking to submit articles to some directories to try and help this but have a question.
Would it be better to submit to a directory based in the USA which has a good PR and lots of backlinks or, a directory in the UK which has half the PR and backlinks of the US site?
Would Google see my site as more relevant to the UK market with a weaker link from a UK directory or, does it not matter and I should just submit to those directories in the USA?

As forum members maybe starting to become aware I am conducting a major overhaul of all of my websites. This has been on the cards for a few months now so I have been playing with a few ideas.
Not all of them good it seems!!!

Still Thinking About The 301 In Bound Link Thing...
I asked something similar a few months ago but never really managed to figure it out!
If i change the URL of a page and setup a 301 redirect do i need to go through the (very) lengthy process of changing all the inbound links to point to the new page?
As far as i can figure out... Everything follows a 301 redirect, including the spiders. One thing is for sure though. You MUST keep that 301 live forever!

Sites HTML Won't Center?
I have a template that I uploaded and the html file is in the upper right hand corner. The swf. is in the center. Others are seeing a white line around it.
Clearly, I'm missing something fundamental. I like treasure hunts but I need to get this add up and finish the taxes. I would appreciate even the slightest hint in the right direction.
