WebProWorld Members,
Ok, so I stumbled upon this link on MSN and just had to share... I warn you, it's not a pretty picture. Did you check it out? In my opinion, it just isn't right! ...Not to mention the grossness factor! Eeeww! Sorry, now that image will be burned into your head the rest of the evening. All my co-workers have graciously thanked me for sharing it with them earlier today. ;)
Our featured post today comes from PhilT , who has several pages on his site that are ranked for specific keywords. He has backlinks with keywords in the anchors, and has done all the neccessary with title and meta tags etc. If he decides to remove the content or replace it for another, will it affect the SERPs? If you know the answer, click here!
As for the remaining three post, the first wants to know if blog links are hurting or helping. The second has a CSS font color rendering problem. And the third needs info on SafeSearch messing up SERPs.

Changing Content Affect SERPS?
I have several pages on my site that are ranked for specific keywords. I've got backlinks with the keywords in the anchors, I've done all the neccessary with title and meta tags etc.
Even the content has keywords sprinkled about.
Now, if I decide to remove the content or replace it for another, will it affect my SERPs?

Are Blog Links Hurting or Helping Me?
If I were to operate a stand-alone Blog that is relevant to my niche, how would I be better served?
Place a link on the side navigation bar to ecomm site? That would be a sitewide link and doesn't seem good (3 yr old blog = lots of side nav links).
Take the link off the side navigation and only link to ecomm site with keyword rich text links, from the body of the post/s when relevant? That would add up due to it's relevancy to the ecomm site and the copy that is written would afford many opportunities.

Graphics & Design Discussion Forum CSS Font Color Rendering Problem
The following code will not render the proper font color in Firefox or Netscape, but works fine in IE.
<p style="color:#9F4D21; font: bold 20px/1.5em verdana, sans-serif;">DON'T FORGET OUR EVENT ON</p>
If you lower the font size to 16px or lower it works fine.
<p style="color:#9F4D21; font: bold 16px/1.5em verdana, sans-serif;">DON'T FORGET OUR EVENT ON</p>
Anyone know what is going on or if there is a workaround?

Search Engine Optimization Forum SafeSearch Messing Up SERPs
I've got a customer who specialises in Botox. He doesn't come up for his keywords when Googles SafeSearch is set to moderate. His competitors positions are unchanged when you change between filter levels. What can be done to resolve this?
(A quick thanks to everyone whose helped me out over the last couple of years - I've just landed a new SEO position which is a lot better! Wahoo!)
