WebProWorld Members,
So it seems like every blog post I have read lately is about social media and social networking. Which networks do you use to stay connected, and/or help your business? Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Digg, or any others you can think of? Some of them seem to become a little "addicting." Do you think you're addicted to any of these networks?
Our featured post today comes from chandrika, who has more than one sitemap, one for a UK part of a site and the other for the USA part of the site, and she has chosen different options for each. She is wondering if Google will register that it is diferent for each part of the site. To read more details and see if you can help, click here!
As for the remaining three post, the first wants to know if age of a website matters to Google. The second has questions about Google Data Center. And the third needs some help with a DHTML "pivot menu".

Google Tool To Specify Country Target
In webmaster tools you can specify which location you want to target your website at.
As I have more than one sitemap, one for a UK part of a site and the other for the USA part of the site, I have chosen different options for each.
I am just wondering whether anyone knows if Google will register that it is diferent for each part of the site. Whether they will target the UK folder pages for UK and USA on USA, or whether it will mix things up, because they might associate one country only with one domain and get confused by having different folders on one domain targetted at different countries?
Time will tell I suppose, but does anyone already know whether this will work ok?

How Much Does Age Matter?
My website is competing for the term 'unique gifts' but no matter what I try I never seem to get beyond the second page in Google. As far as I'm aware I have good SEO on the page and am working on more inbound links.
What I wanted to know is, how much does the age of a site matter? I've had my site for around 3 years. If age is a factor, is there any point in trying to rank any higher for this term if the older sites will always perform better anyway?

I am surprised to see that why the most popular page in terms of visits is having highest number of bounce rate. How can I optimize this page please help.

Search Engine Optimization Forum Is This DHTML "Pivot Menu" Crawlable?
We're thinking of implementing a dynamic HTML box similar to the one found at news.yahoo.com. Scroll down to the "more news" box -- see it "pivot" between two different frames or boxes?
The question is, is this specific implementation as crawler-friendly as regular HTML?
Curious to know the community's thoughts.
