Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! St. Paddy's Day or Paddy's Day. Today, we celebrate Saint Patrick, a patron saint of Ireland. It's the national holiday in Ireland. Today make sure to wear your green or you will get a little pinch from the leprechaun. Don't forget to look for some four leaf clovers and the famous pot of gold.

Our featured post today comes from Rick_001. He has a few questions to ask about dynamic pages, keyword tools, and SEO companies. He goes on to ask how can he optimize his e-commerce site with over 2000 dynamic pages? What are the best keyword tools (free/paid) offered on the web? The last question is who are the best SEO companies?

As for the remaining posts, the first asks how did there long established site disappeared from Google suddenly? The next post is having the same problem, it was ranked number one for over a year and now it is gone. Our final post today wonders if the latest version of Dreamweaver can integrate MSAccess databases?

Dynamic Pages, Keyword Tools, SEO companies

Dynamic Pages, Keyword Tools, SEO companies
1. Dynamic Pages: My friend's site is an e-commerce based site. It has around 2000 dynamic pages. Now, he has asked me to optimize the site especially for Google. The site has hardly 30 static pages. Rest (around 2000) are dynamic pages (.aspx). What will be the ideal solution to tackle this issue? Moreover, I have some idea about dynamic pages, which I would like to share with you all for confirmation. Please also correct me I am wrong.

a) Dynamic pages also get indexed by Google. But if it (dynamic page) has more than 3 special characters, it may have a problem to be indexed by Google and other major search engines.

b) Although dynamic pages get indexed by Google, but at any point of time, search results for a relevant key phrase wont fetch a good position for that page. That means web page of the site can not be in the best 10 for a valid key phrase.

c) There is an option like rewriting (converting) all the dynamic pages to static pages, which can solve our purpose. Google WebMaster has provided some tools, which can convert all the dynamic pages to respective static web pages.

It will be nice if anybody can explore my statements (a,b,c) in details and throw some light on handling dynamic pages.

2. Keyword Tools: There are many keyword tools (free/paid) offered by different sites. They also claim that they have the ability to handle Google search engine in terms of giving information about popular key phrases to handle google. To my knowledge, it is very difficult to know about Google's keywords data. I will be delighted if anybody can throw some light on it. Moreover, I have come across a tool called IBP. Can anybody give me some idea about IBP or any other tools (free/paid)?

3. SEO Companies: Which are the best SEO companies, who have consistently done some quality work on SEO for their clients. If I can get some information about them that will help me to create a database of SEO companies and can be point of reference for me.

HELP! Long Established Site Disappeared from Google Suddenly

I awoke on Saturday to find out that my site, cherrysage.com, has completely disappeared from Google SERPs using all of my established keywords. I've never used any shortcuts, all my work was done by me following conventional methods. I've been enjoying first page results for sometime now and, just recently, my site has experienced even better, improved results including some #1 spots for certain keywords and this was after the most recent PR update where my PR went down from 5 to 3--but I started getting better SERPs; and now, it has vanished! I'm extremely upset and don't know what happened as this is a very busy site for me and now all the traffic from google has stopped.

I checked the other search engines like Yahoo and MSN and I'm getting the same traffic from them, I checked my links on google and they are showing a decreased amount of backlinks, almost 100 seems to have disappeared from the link check on google (the are the same on Yahoo and MSN), and I don't know what that is a result from either. I have some paid links and I was starting to think that perhaps there was some problem with a linking site and they were not counted on the last update.

I'm totally confused and don't know what to think and if it will be coming back. Can anyone help me figure this whole thing out! I don't know what to do.

Gone In One Day!

My website... boxsch.com is a boxing schedule site. I've been ranked number one on google for a year now; for boxing schedule, pro boxing schedule, showtime boxing, boxing tv schedule, boxing results, latest boxing results, and many many other keywords related to boxing. As of this morning my site is no longer ranked for any of these. Its like someone just flipped a switch. you can still see my site if you type boxsch in the search engine.

So last night and for the past year i was ranked and this morning gone! Can someone tell me whats going on?

I dont do anything wrong when it some to SEO. I follow all the rules.

DW, MSAccess w/o PHP or MySQL

I'm thinking about building a database driven web-site. Vendors w/post info about their products and customers will purchase or post requests for special orders. I'm contemplating buying the latest version of Dreamweaver. I want to integrate MSAccess databases.

I have written HTML for my photography web-site now inop. Can this be done fairly quickly or will there be a steep cliff to climb? Any guidance will be gratefully accepted.
