WebProWorld Members,
I really enjoyed all of your posts this week. In the short time I have been here, I have learned so much, mostly from WebProWorld members. I would like to thank you all for your contributions to make this site what it is today. Keep posting and we will have no problem exceeding that 50,000 member mark.
Our featured post today comes from kumiko. It deals with searching keywords in SQL. Once he inserts a set of string keywords, it will by default involve 3 tables. When the user clicks the radio button it will do a regular search plus search the other tables. View his post to see an illustration of his problem.
The remaining posts talk about, pages that dont exist anymore still be indexed by search engines. The next post asks for help on how to test a CMS on a server without making it live. Our final post today asks for help on how to submit a google sitemap to her blog.

Database Discussion Forum
Searching Keywords SQL
I have some SQL query questions I need to ask. I know maybe this is quite easy for others but I really can't figure out how to query this thing I want. Since I am quite poor in database SQL.
First, user can insert a set of string keywords to search --> apple, orange, pear. There are 3 tables involved by default. If the user didn't check the radio button, the system will search the result from table A which consist of( photoid, photoname and photokeywords). It will match the keywords and then display out the photo name as a result.
My problem is, when the user CLICKS on the radio button, the system will still do the searching same as below + do another matching to search the LKeywords in the table B which consist of( lightboxid, lightboxname, and LKeywords).
If it is a match, then it will go to table C(lgihtboxphoptoid, lightboxid, photoid). To see that lightbox id that get just now got any photos id related or not. If there is the photoid in the table C, then get back the photo name from the table A.
I am using ASP with MS SQL. I realy get a headache over this result. Can someone plz help me?

www.bleaz.com
I have just finished my new directory bleaz directory. I have tried to make it a bit different from all the directories around adding a featured and a reciprocal section. I have also added a php script that displays last 10-featured links. Also it is unique in the submission page where a lot of things are happening automaticly.

Search Engine Optimization Forum Non Existing Pages Being Indexed
Recently my client transferred the domain Frankel Realty Group | Ponte Vedra and Jacksonville Real Estate from one hosting company (Advanced Access) to another (Real Estate Webmasters). The new site has all new content and page organization.
But for some reason... the Search Engines are continuing to index non-existent pages which are the pages from the old site.
Will it just take some time to get those pages completely removed? But the funny thing is... is when I run an indexation report (I use Web CEO) it shows that the search engines are adding new pages that existed on the old site.
Is there something that I can do... or again... will it just take time to get them all removed? Also... if they are still indexing these old site pages, could it affect the rankings?

Webmaster Resources Discussion Forum Is There A Way To Test A CMS On The Live Server?
I am new to CMS's and I was just wondering if there is an easy way to test site changes without having to work on a live site. I would really like to be able to make my changes in some sort of testing area on the site and then if everything is ok, the changes can then be transfered right over to the live files.
This is mainly so my clients can approve what I have done and just so if something breaks, nothing is wrong on the live site, no matter how short a period of time it may be.
