Default Looking for Expert Web Development with Juicy web 2.0 skills

Thanks for reading my post. If you got the goods, I would like to hear from you and/or your team. I am tired of the phrase web 2.0 too, but it summarizes the tools, resources, interactivity, and direction I want to go with my site revision. Wee have an existing site to work from and some new designs, but I need to have the site programmed from scratch. I had it done in the Ukraine--it's unreliable. If we are growing I don't want to mess around.

We have a classified site that will be developed so that it can be easily scaled into eighteen different states or communities. Each state will eventually reach critical mass where it will require further sub-division or regionalization within the state. The site structure will be tailored to our specific needs, but similar to Craig list/

The database structure will need to take into consideration heavy MYSQL, email, and potential concurrent users. The site needs to be built anticipating large volumes of traffic. We cannot cut any corners with this as we’ve experienced severe load issues, concurrent user problems with the 1.0 version of the site. The lack of scalability and performance under stress conditions are the primary reasons for the 2.0 version. The system needs to be flawless and capable of handling massive loads of traffic on the software side.

We need to get all the 2.0 juicy features into our site to promote clicking into all categories and keep users clicking and wanting more...Also need to bring in some more feeds from news like topix. We have good classifieds content, but we need to create awareness about all the other categories with most popular, recently posted, easier content publishing, recent jobs...we need to widgetize our own site if I am using the correct terminology and bring in new concepts to really distinguish us more from similar sites.

The functionality and technology has to be flawless and self-administered so we can focus on growth. We need a solid 2.0 version of the site so we can put all doubt about the technology, functionality, and stickiness aside; we need to completely focus on content, marketing, & sales. We need a stickier, more reliable and scalable application developed so we can attract a loyal customer base. It’s like our users are going down the drain once we get them. We need to keep them and make them want to come back if we ever expect to succeed. We need competent forward thinking tech junkies who are on the cutting edge of what it takes to be a successful internet company—internet marketing and web technology.

Please bring lots of ideas and passion to the table. Moreover, please have a demonstrable and proven track record of successful implementation and execution that you or your team managed a-z.

Thanks for your time and attention.
