I'm Taking Bids on a WordPress Blog Setup - I just don't have time.
I own www.AnotherBloggingHead.com It's slated to become a WordPress Blog Site associated with www.mountaineagleweb.com I will use it to review online and offline marketing plays. It will be hosted on GoDaddy and the hosting will include "quick setup" for WordPress. I will furnish header graphic. It will be set up at 750px wide or there abouts. 3 column with validated XHTML code or near there, optimized for future monetization. We are close to not having to consider 800x600 monitor resolution any more... I may consider 1024x768 min. Tables are ok no deeper than 2nd level nest. I prefer full CSS control of table elements. It should have as many add-on widgets as appropiate. It needs to be a first class site. Talk to me, I'd like to hear your bids. We may be able to do other business if you can design within the constraints I have laid out. If you can play with me well, it will include a prominent link from the Site and the probability of more business. In this case, I need to see examples. This will be my personal blog linked from my PR5 Portfolio Page along with other places and spaces. Demonstrated prior Blog Monetization Experience will be considered a big +. I expect it to come out of the chute hard. Thanks, Ken |

Concerning coding would not be a problem for us. But to be honest, we do not have Blog Monetization Experience.

To quote anything i would clarify certain things so that we can understand your requirements well and have wonderful work ahead.:-) "You are looking for a site with lots many categories and adds types to have all the topics covered along with the space for blog monetization." The examples of the 2 sites mentioned have been studied for the reference. Waiting for your response Sarah |

Hi ken,
Is that you only require the blog page set up and the contents and will be yours or you want us to promote contents for you? Sarah sarah006@gmail.com |

Add On Widgets? I always love good Add On Widgets. While I have not setup a site with "wordpress" I'm sure that it's simply based on a basic PHP file with a basic template CSS file attached.
Take a look at our site, and if you like our design skills, then I'm sure we could match up at a proper price point.

Weslinda,
I follow your posts here at WPW. You always seem to be on target and you have a nice looking Site. Hope you don’t mind me making a couple comments about expressing W3C validation icons: Change your CSS Validation link to: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/v...usermedium=all You have no errors there but you have been caught with a few CSS Warnings regarding expressing “background color” just like I have recently. It looks like the newer interest there may align with how the SEs are sniffing out CSS spam. Obviously you are not practicing CSS spam here and neither am I, but those warnings seem to be relatively new. I am thinking I need to buck up there also. You may also want to change your HTML validation link to: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...rldfire.com%2F However, you need to take care of a few errors there if you continue to sport the Valid HTML Icon. I glanced through your Site and didn’t see a portfolio. Did I miss it? Don't mean to seem like a hard ass, but this blog is going to be important to me, and I expect it to make a mark. Again, whoever does me right will end up with long term prominent links from it and my main Site. Thanks, Ken |

Greeneagle, thanks for pointing that out. I think things just randomly change at the "conforming" world.
I'm pulling those links for validty now as the new forms I put in obviously aren't setup the way they'd like to see them. I'm not sure why, but that's something I'll have to figure out to tweak in, the one piece is the "font tags" that got put in there by the form software. I didn't even catch them, or the other issues. I validated the site before I added those forms, and with so much going on, forgot to validate after. Regarding my portfolio, at the top of the page, there is a set of links including home, contact, services and portfolio is in there. Looks like I have some work to make that stand out. Here is a direct link to help you out. http://www.worldfire.com/2006/web-design-portfolio.html Have a great afternoon, and now you've screwed up my day cause now I've got to go worry about my misses. Thanks man.

There you go GreenEagle, I'm valid again. Apparently I'm not allowed to have a "hidden" input outside of other organization areas. Once I put it inside another org tag, such as a TD in this particular case, we validated all up and such.
Other issues were dumb font issues. Now I've got to go look at the CSS to see what you were discussing.

Okay, now I've seen it all. I ignored the "background" warnings. Because I felt that if I used the particular tag on a different area that had a different background, then I wouldn't want a specific color for a specific tag.
I guess they are pushing that you really tag everything as in depthly as possible. Fun, fun, fun...

WOW weslinda - you are fast! - That's impressive!
I know where my design constraints are so I am uping the ante (reciprocal value carrot) from my end. For anyone that can play with me here, I will include the following: 1. Prominent link on my Home Page at www.mountaineagleweb.com with appropiate textural and associated verbiage. 2. Co-authored (with myself) or approved single author article publication of your choice (leading edge!) within relative contents to our Sites on my Articles Page at: http://www.mountaineagleweb.com/Articles/Articles.htm 3. If we can reach agreement on an outsourcing basis, we can also make an announcement on my News Page at: http://www.mountaineagleweb.com/News/News.htm 4. Prominent link on the Blog Site. 5. The possibility of a long term relationship for outsourcing partial and/or entire projects. I believe you will find that I am offering quite a bit of value there. Ken |

Ken,
I work 9-5 at a minimum every day, most of it at my machine, and I don't like issues with my own sites. So, fix them. Call it a day. I'm always interested in building my business, I've thought on looking to partner up with some of the to guys here and build a firm, and build a real business. Anyway, on your Blog site, do you have the concepts of what "areas" of info you'd like to have? Anything else pitched there? I'm open to talking more. I'm all about new business. Also, I think if you look at the portfolio, you'll like what you see, PM me and lets talk in more depth.

Hey Green, just an FYI, I actually think I'll try and setup my own wordpress blog, as I've got too much to say, and too few places to say it.
I'll let you know how that goes, and if you are still interested in me designing your blog, just let me know.
