Default SEO and design guru needed

Straight to the point and honesty from the start....

--I can't promise vast amounts of money and I'm sponging a favour for a reciprocal scratch of your back if I make any money.

--I am building my own website that will sell downloadable PDF company reports. I have all faith in the product but have limited design and even more limited SEO skills as the whole subject is getting beyond me.

--What I want is someone to give my website a butchers and get some traffic generated through the site.

--What I can offer is transparency. Having worked (and been shafted by a big corporate) I am a very small startup needing help. I have no money at the moment but genuinely have the work and moral ethic that believes in treating others how you would like to be treated.

--I'd like to hear from anyone who would like to take a chance with trying to get my project kicked off. I can't guarantee anything but genuinely think that my product is a goer given the chance.

haha @ vast amounts of money.

A small pdf site is nothing. Pick one of the bozos in the critique lounge or an active veteran here or in another forum and browse through their sites.

If they're wasting time in an SEO forum chances are they might have time enough to make you a site.

Thanks Elite for the comments.

Such a shame that you have such a jaded viewpoint on the world. There are some good guys out there still who have faith in humanity and helping out. Guessing by the name Elite Skills you must exist on a much higher social echelon than myself, only a mere mortal.

hahahahahahaha,

Tear to my eye.

I was giving you the best advice you can get but you saw it as biased slanted bastardization of, "yeh right n'good luck."

Look for people out critiquing and check out their sites. If it looks like they can do something you had in mind send them a private message asking as business investment in your idea.

Many people are weary of, "can you make me a site pretty please please, I have the best idea in the world."

You don't provide any information about needing a host or domain name, in which case it's another 120 dollar a year investment.

Do it yourself. If it's all that promising. Get a loan. Don't risk someone elses' money with sketchy virtual prospects.
