Key Registration Database

I am having some software built:

It's almost ready, but I need someone to help me to build a database for the key registration system.

Is there anyone here that can help me?

Somehow, I have to keep a log of keys on my server, and each time the software is downloaded, a key is generated.

I don't know anything about such things.

Or, if anyone has any better ideas, please let me know.
