Page currently ranks about 74th on Google for "Cincinnati wedding photographers" and no matter what I try, I can't seem to get it to much higher myself. Frustrating. Most pages above it are nation-wide directories with a "cincinnati photographers page" selling listings. Very few actual wedding photographer's own sites.

I am afraid there's nothing doing with placement. No serious SEO professional will try to do anything about it without optimizing: your site needs to be recoded properly and many things improved including the very very slow page loading. That is, besides SE optimization you must also see to optimize it for visitors.
I suggest you have it reviewed in the Submit Your Site for Review section first.

Like venevidi said your site needs to be recoded properly. My daughter was 6 when I clicked on your
link. By the time your site came up she was 23 and looking for wedding photographer....Sorry for the bad joke...But the site really needs some serious revamping first before you think of placement.
