Need a website developper medical diagnostic website.
Works with at text database (WP5.1) in 4500 disease files and 5000 symptoms.

My conclusions from first tests with medical website (2ndOpinion: not longer in use):
1. De huge amount of medical information of more than 4000 illnesses, more than 2000 medications in use, thousands of medical techniques with their indications and complications and more than 2000 published clinical guidelines (USA) makes the use of computer databases indispensable for a fast, adequate en safe medical practice.
2. Medical computer databases can be used to search for difficult and not so obvious diagnoses and managment without use of complicated website.
3. The completeness of the differential diagnosis is function of:
- the completeness of medical data in het medicale database
- the use of unambiguous search terms and medical data for the user of the
medical database (controlled vocabulary) as for the computer website.
4. The number and the rarity of the search terms used limits the list of final differential diagnoses.
5. Medical databases who are updated are more efficient in the search for a correct differential diagnosis yet the cumbersome database hinders het fast search (of the complete database). The processor speed can partly remediate the cumbersome databases.
6. A differential diagnosis list with 2ndOpinon website with almost always be more complete and less biased than with brainpower. All differential diagnoses are searched included those outside the speciality or interest of the user. Even searching in the speciality of the user will be much faster and more complete with the help of adequate website.

BRAVA SYSTEM

The goal of this project was to enhancing the Brava™ system for non-surgical cosmetic body shaping and improve the client’s customer service. A comprehensive Web site that we designed comprises B2B and B2C components providing a complete framework and automating many operations. A server-side application is used to handle connections and data transfer, to store data in the central database, and to generate reports. Client Private Area allows clients to view their progress data. The entire system is controlled using Administrator Control Panel. Additionally, we implemented the AskBrava™ helpdesk, a trouble ticket control system, a client-to-client and client-to-Brava instant messaging module, a module allowing clients to leave their messages during non-office hours, a Web site usage statistics analysis module, and a dynamic content management system.
The implemented system helped Brava LLC enhance their marketing efforts and achieve impressive commercial success: the site is visited by 450,000 people annually, over 12,000 BRAVA system units have been sold, seven regional offices have been established worldwide.
