Take a look at my blog http://www.3dmagicaldesigns.com/3dmd_webdesign , there are some interesting articles there that I know you will find very useful. Sorry I don't have much time to explain but I am sure you can find many answers there. Sorry about the design but it is a long process to upload the blog

How do you offer to do SEO if you can't do basic webmaster tasks???

You might want to learn a bit more before taking on a clients site, destroying said site, and have a client suing you....

Not to fear my friend there will be no SEO before it's time, and in addition to that, have you heard of a "hold harmless agreement" ? I learned that in Contract Law back in the late 60's. I may [in the end] decide this project is more then I want to contend with, but for right now it sounds very interesting. I plan to practice on my own web sites. Once I get them where I think they should be then I may decide to branch out.

I took a look at your WS, interesting, can't seem to find an e-mail address, got some Q's I would like to ask U. You seem to be interested in helping the lowly learner. Valkyman

Hey Valkyman

I am very sorry, I am in the process of turning my website into a blog and have had to deal with a lot of stuff. I have already uploaded my provisional contact page, you can PM me here if you want.

Hey there 3-D man, Valkyman here. I may have to wait until I procure an EM address for you, or wait till I receive a few more post. If I recall when I attempted
to go "direct contact", [ the other day] I got a flag that said I needed like 10 post, or some thing like that before I could reply direct. Take Care, Good tidings on the blog.

Valky

This sounds to me like a better starting point than your first post. .

The truth quite likely is; Creating a site using any other business than SEO sounds like a far better Idea. You have seemingly picked the one subject that you have no knowledge about.

If you studied contract law in the sixties, it sounds like you quite likely have a vast accumulation of knowledge that is not related to SEO. . . Utilise this, and give yourself an edge over all the young fellows you will be competing with. .

Success anywhere is your first step to gaining on line credibility. I know that you have credibility - show us where it is to get better advise. .

Before you start a SEO business I would learn about web site building, wordpress building, the plugins you need, how to get backlinks, how to write press releases and articles and more. Its futile to start a SEO business if you dont really know about SEO. I would suggest interning at a local company for a few weeks.

Only one question? It's a pretty big question, and there is no single simple answer to it...

There are tons of free SEO resources on how to do what you're wanting...

Specifically, I might suggest Steve Claytones SEM Blueprint, which runs you through how to start your own SEO/SEM consulting business.

I might also recommend Dan Thies FastStart SEO guide - a 100 page no nonsense guide to SEO

Good luck

I suggest you should work as employee in any SEO and Web Design company before you starts yours this gives you answers to all of your questions that you had asked.
