Hi to every one,
One of my client has negative comments in SERP.If I put his brand name "xyz", many negative comments and postings are being displayed in google serp and therefore he is losing lot of his clients. I am trying to push down those comments from past 6 months by doing pressrelease, blog posting, creating profile in networking sites but all is in vain. Please help me..... I forgot to introduce myself as I am newcomer to this forum. I am devin working as SEO, PPC campaigner and also web analyst. |

First, you'll need to identify what you think are the "good pages" and what are the bad pages. Make a list. Then take that list and look up each one's backlinks; see if you can determine why one web page is ranking where it is in the rankings: it might have more links than another page.
Essentially, what you'll need to do is go get links to those "good pages".

Some good tips I sent over a to a prospect the other day:
1. Set-up blogs on each website and start producing content related to XYZ Company. This will enable these posts to rank for those keywords. We should also consider buying some new domains with XYZ Company in the domain name. e.g. XYZCompany.com. These new domains will allow us to push the exact message we want to the consumers. Producing unique content and offering social interaction for visitors will make these new website rank faster than you can believe. We can also utilize them for PPC. 2. We should employ PPC or Google AdWords. Right now I don’t see anyone bidding on XYZ Company. We can construct landings pages explaining the negative pages that consumers might run into. This can only help protect your brand and will help influence visitors to see who is the real website that they should be visiting. 3. Consider joining forums and other websites which require a user name and have a indexable profile page. For instance if you look up my name: “Jaan Kanellis” you will find MyBlogLog Community page, LinkedIn page, Facebook, CircleID and many other websites that simply list a profile page that gets crawled from their powerful internal network of links. Of course the user names we would create and focus on would be XYZ Company. A great list of these websites are here: 50+ Sites To Help You Bury Negative Posts About You or Your Company! | Search Engine People Blog 4. Harness the power of other website authority to push down bad reputation listings. This is a large part of how you can quickly get those bad search engine result pages quickly changed into neutral or very positive pages. What we do here is create pages on other websites and link to them so they will get ranked. This really applies to any sort of social media web page that allows you to author your own question/content. This can happen in many different forms and from many different websites. A few examples that we can talk through next week: Yahoo! Answers - Home or Google Groups 5. Stock quote pages. Is XYZ Company a public company? If so we can start linking to those stock quote pages from Yahoo and Google Finance and get those pages ranking well. 6. Consider “employing” or offering other bloggers to step up and post about XYZ Company. Not so much PayPerPost or Review Me style, but emailing or calling them one by one and doing it the right way. This would require recommendations for you and some searching on my behalf. 7. Consider getting news interviews, podcasts, etc on the subject of XYZ Company live online? Of course these will be primarily authored by you and positive in nature. Getting you to construct them and making sure the interviewer posts them online is obviously important. Once live you can point to them from many different websites as a resource to help them rank. 8. Create another controversy. Well this is very tricky, but rightly constructed it might over current pages that our troubling us. If there is a smoke, then there's fire.
If a company is getting so many negative feedbacks on the internet. I don't think it is wise to do business with them. And based on your job description "SEO, PPC campaigner and also web analyst", I don't think it's your job to clean-up the reputation of your client. The best thing they can do is to provide quality and honest services/products, and then positive feedback would come naturally but gradually. But then, it's not your job. It's their job.
