I should have said, how do I create a link in my signature without using www ? Still pretty basic, I know. Thanks to anyone who answers.

It's OK all - I've just answered my own question - when I keyed in my www website address, the system automatically added all the keywords you see int he posting above.

You might want to consider shortening the page title element a bit.

Also, you don't have it in your signature.

Click on the "Quick Links" link in the green bar above your first post then click on edit signature.

Or click on the "User CP" link in the same green abar and on the left will be a link for edit signature.

Thanks - I've now changed my signature as you suggested, although this now appears as a www link rather than a keyword link. It's better though.

You'll need to add it like this...

[ url=http://www. yourwebsite.com ] Anchor Text [/url ]

Remove the spaces

Well I'm not seeing your Sig here - nor in my published posts. It seems (and this is common at many forums) that you sometimes have to rise in status and make X-number of posts here before the Signature you created and see when posting actually shows up to all the other members???

Is that's what's happening here at WebProWorld, I only dug in the FAQ/Help a bit and didn't see any reference to what it takes for the Sig to show up.

I can see why Forum admins may implement that - but at the same time I don't feel like I have to be forced to YAP YAP YAP on 10, 50, or 100+ posts to get my backlinks live: It just encourages people to post for the sake of posting...

The count is 15 and it's not been published in the rules/FAQ as of yet since it is newer.

As far as being "forced to YAP YAP YAP..." to get your backlinks. Don't. Noone is "forcing" you to do anything.

As so far as posting for the sake of posting, that's a pretty clear indication that their purpose/reason for being here is to "get links" rather than be part of and contribute to the community. Those folks usually lose the "privilege" of not only signature links, but the opportunity to post altogether.
