Default 301 redirect??

Hello, I have several domain names that I would like to place as a 301 redirect to my current website. The only problem I have is that none of these domain names have hosting. They are simply domains which I have purchased. The only peramiter I can adjust is the nameservers and regular forwarding to my main site.
So my question is... Can a 301 redirect work for all these domains if I only have access to the main ftp server for the main website?
Any help is much appreciated!

Just curious why do you want to do this? Are they popular enough to get type in traffic or are you advertising them in other media formats?

So what it sounds like is that you have one primary domain name and you would like to use the other domains as alias', is that right? So basically when someone types in one of the alias' they get your main domain.

This is usually done by your server people. They can help you setup primary and alias domain names.

Well firstly I wouldn't 301 more then 3 domains to a site, lets not raise red flags to Google Secondly watch out that 301s aren't supported by Live, and Yahoo acts a little bit funny from time to time. If you have a hosting provider that has Cpanel you can "park" the domains ontop of your hosting so that if you type the domain you get your current website, then just add some 301 rules to an htaccess and your off to the raises.
