Default Google changed our rankings

Hi
In the span of 2 days, our ranks dropped from 19 to 32 for a particular keyword, we are still wondering how/why. Let me give you some idea of what we did and what we changed in those 2 days. (I can't upload the image for reference here). I am using our website rank monitoring tool - kpmrs . com (sorry I can't place the full URL) to track my search engine rankings. I took the screen shot from that only. So anyway until 07/04 - we did nothing to optimize kpmrs for the keyword "website ranking" but still it was doing going up as you see in the chart. It was not in top 100 few weeks ago but on 4th July, it reached its peak - 19th on google .

On the same day, we changed our titles and some content. We added "website ranking" in the title, we added the same keyword
in the description of our home page content and in meta keywords. As soon as we did that, our ranks fell .

It is kind of weird. I have no clue why would the rank drop suddenly for the keyword which we added in title and content.

Can anyone suggest a practical reason ?

Thanks

I have also replied to your question is some other forum. Anyway, as you have changed your pages titles and some content, then this is most probably the reason why your site ranking was decreased.

I will suggest that you keep updating your site plus try to get some solid backlinks.

It seems recent days Google have changed its algorithm again. One of my main keywords drop dramatically, even disappeared. It used to be show on the first page. I have done nothing about it, not altering pages titles and content, something like this.

Your position dropped from 19th to 32nd. That is not a big drop and is quite normal, especially if your site is relatively new. Even though you did not do anything to your site, your competitors might have done some SEO to boost their positions. So some fluctuations in serp results should be expected.

Totally serps is updated along with google cache from my understanding. Whenever a new cache appears it takes into account all of your current links, pr value and everything else google has under their algoryhum. It also takes into account expired links, seo done by other companies. Articles/Press releases updating/expiring and other things. If you submited articles etc, you may have been on a high PR front page for one cache, then off of it for the next, influencing your position in the serps.

You don't get stable rankings on Google.. If you want to stay on top, then you have to continue doing Off-Page Optimization..

google didn't change it, they just base on how you optimize the site and base on algorithm too
