Are you saying that one GOOD link is better than 3,000 mediocre links? I would disagree with you.

Then again... how do you define a GOOD link? I have one link from a very "good" source, but it also links out to many other sites. So is the link juice still that good? I tend to think it is diluted. I also have links from sites that are not very authoritative or "good", but they don't have many outbound links. So which is the better link?

Who really cares!? The main thing is that I have links from those sites; whatever link juice they pass on is "good". At worst, they don't pass any juice, but they still count as credibility for my site since they are counted as inbound links by the big G.
