I have one question
what is Twitter?

A micro blogging system, that is you post up to 140 characters at a time saying what you are doing.

So if you were off to the local coffee shop you'd tweet something of that nature then your friends/followers would see and can reply to say I'll be there.

Think of it as a broadcast announcement system of what you are doing.

You can also get help via it, I stated I couldn't find an item of documentation on the new MODx site and within minutes I was given more links to the offending item than you can shake a stick at.

Twitter is a service to quickly share information with your friends. You can write whatever you want and you consider will be interestin to others. Twitter allows to subscribe to your posts and receive them immediatelly. Make more friends with Twitter.

That was the initial idea. But you can also use it to promote anything. But first you need to gather people around you. Good luck.

I'm not also familiar with twitter. Is it considered a social networking site just like facebook, myspace, fiendster,etc? I guess i have to register my own account to explore what's really in there..or will it drive traffic to my site too.

My friends asked me what is differencies with FACEBOOK and twitter.
Those two service is very simillar but I think FACEBOOK is closed service.
