Yes it will help. It is better to have links from many websites instead of many links from 1 website.

Jeremy80 is right... But don't forget to filter which blog is dofollow and which is not.. Think of dofollow as plus, the more you have it, the more it adds up.. Think of nofollow as nothing, the more you have it, the more exhausted you are and nothing else..

In addition, you should try to look for blogs with the same niche as yours, and also have higher page ranking.

It Depends, if those pages are high pr, dofollow anchors and same niche. Then its beneficial.

I quite agree. Blog commenting is really helpful if the blog belongs to you niche - it is one of the most effective techniques to my mind in fact.

No follow links are very useful.

You seem to forget that there are other search engines apart form Google. Also there is the issue of human traffic. Peopele still click on links amazing as that may sound

Depends on what you are targeting at - is it google or is it people who will probably get interested. So if you are concerned just about whether your particular link is going to be appreciated by G (and solely G - thank you, Niche, for reminding us that there are still other search engines out there), then nofollow is not your option.

It is not meaning less but you can try to comment on different blogs is very use full to increase your back link so different blogs are very use full to increase your site back link which u can get from diff ips and diff sites too ...

many backlinks from single site wont give ur site much effect in rankings too ...
