It was recently recommended to me that a good way of increasing
SEO for my company's website
https://earthtecinc.com would be to get a new domain that targeted our keywords, in this case something like web-hosting-offshore.com or
offshorewebhostingpanama.com and optimize Earth Tec's index page for those phrases, then link them to the rest of the earthtecinc.com site.
My question is: don't search engines see this as an unacceptable practice - ie lead in pages strictly used to load a page with keywords? Even if it is not prohibited would it be seen as distracting for the viewer to be switched from one URL to another? Or was the person suggesting that I switch
all of our content over to the keyword URL, not just the index page?
In response to anuj_pandit1, and this would apply to my case as well, does it matter if someone were to enter into the SE "international
calling cards" instead of "international call cards" or, in my case, "offshore
web hosting" as opposed to "
offshore webhosting".
Thanks for the advice.
