Question .US Domain Names and SEO
What are your experiences with .US domain names in terms of search engine rankings? Do you think Google or Yahoo have built in penalties specifically for a domain being a .us extension?

There are no "penalties" for have a .us TLD.. They are just rare because so many people would rather have a .com..
