PR-5 Website with least Traffic!

Hi Members,

I am currently working on a website which has a PR-5, and has the domain age of nearly 5 years.

The Alexa score is the least in some nearly 8 digits.

Please do suggest some ways to increase the traffic towards the site.

PR does not affect traffic so change your direction.

Get your keywords up, get them to rank well in search engines, when was the last time you have changed your keywords anyways? if it has been a long time, maybe its time to research for new ones, ones that has good search volume and the competition is not that hard...

This is the new website which I have to start working on. New in the sense I am appointed as the webmaster for the site now.

As such there are no keywords on the site's tags.

I think john is right PR not affect your traffic

Page rank has almost nothing to do with the traffic and alexa is often also not a good reference of how popular a site really is.

If I understand you correctly, you are looking for a way to increase your search engine traffic? Well we could talk about this for 5 years and we still wouldn't be done.

There are lots of things you can do but probably most important ones would be adding more fresh content, promoting it in social networks and so on...

Traffic is not influenced - too much - by PR. To increase traffic, post your site on sites having high traffic
