Feedback on BeRankedNumber1.net

Hi all,
I was in the beginning stages of setting up a client with an SEO that was recommended to me by an associate only to find out today that the client signed up for one of the plans offered by BeRankedNumber1.net. I believe his decision was solely because they were the first result that came up when he did a search.

I've been searching for reviews on this company and have to admit that I've come across quite a bit of negative feedback. Although I have experience with SEO, I'm in no way an expert. But from what I've read about their plans and the commentary that I came across, it doesn't sound like this is a worthwhile SEO company. From my understanding, it's more of pay-per-click company that does not perform any onsite or offsite optimization and that caters to customers who are not necessarily well informed. I was wondering if anyone on here had any solid feedback or reviews (positive or negative) on this company.

I cant tell you. I never dealt with this company. I see they don't look to good in Google. More bad mouthing them pops up first. If they are some great SEO company then why aren't they great enough to pull some of their site pages up and over all of that. Literally nothing to positive as far as I can read. If any positive posts at all.. the bad kind a make up for the rest.

I would just be cautious honestly. They may be great! Who knows? A God send or something..

I would just be very wise. It's the holiday season. I personal use Hostech Support for my SEO. Great results! Fairly quick. I have been with them for many projects just almost at a year now. I have used them for many years on the tech support outsourcing side of things. Overall very pleased.

Guaranteed ranking is a red flag.. Like most they will take that $120/mo and pay for an adwords account with less than half of it and say see, you are #1!

That is what I was thinking. I know it's fairly easy for companies to become associated with bad press. But, on the flip side, if they are so great, they should be able to overcome it. The negative, and very few positive, comments that I read dated from 2004 all the way up to this year.

I even doubt that that will help.

Yes, I knew that already. But it was a tip and, from where I come from, you thank people when they are trying to be helpful.
