How URL backlinks affects on keywords promotions?

Hi Guys,
Let's say I want to promote the term "Evil Smiley" and my URL is www.mysite.com.
Some generous sites added inbounds links to my site with the text anchor: "Evil Smiley".
Now I can find my self in the second page for the term "Evil Smiley".
Later, more quality sites added backlinks to my site without any text anchor.
For example, only the URL or mysite.

Do you believe/know those extra backlinks will promote my site on the term "Evil Smiley"?

I just wanted to be sure, because logically it can promote other keywords and the effect on my promoted ("Evil Smiley") keywrods will remain unknown. However, I guessed you checked that issue.

I am not Google, but I think if quality sites add you backlinks (even without your anchor text) this generally increases the SEO value of this page in the eyes of Google.

And in its own term the general value of page helps to get you better positions.

But, once again, I am not Google.

I think its all about the landing page. If the page doesn't seem to be user friendly it your affect your promotion.

A link with or without your keyword may have little impact on your ranking but what matters is the numer of backlinks you have and from which sites.

You will be aware of on-page optimization and which ever keyword you have optimized on site will have more influence on your ranking as compared to your anchor text link.

According to me the good quality website matters for link building....

Even if the anchor text is not a keyword, it will have some positive effect as it is a one way back link.

well if were talking about traffic and back links. But if you are targeting your SERP. Your keyword is mostly preferred..

Every backlink will benefit your SERPs. It would be great if all of them would contain your targeted anchor text however this is usually not the case with natural backlinks. Google also understands this fact and will award you lots of benefit from a natural backlink even if it's not in anchor form if it is on a website with relevant content.

Yeah very true , Every Links will help you to improve You SE Ranking And also importance of your site to , But links with anchor text will help google to find out For which keyword people think your site is best , so always try to have links with your target keywords , Do not just place your link just like that , And also remember Links from sites those are relevant to your sites niche Will boost your SERP quickly
