Default Being Crawled But Page Not Indexing

I have asked before about why pages aren't indexed, so I have been very patient to see when my 'relatively new' page would get indexed. I am being crawled about every 2 days now but this page is still not being picked up. Any ideas as to why?

This is the page:

I don't see any problems with catching your link by spiders, so you probably need to be little more patient and the new page will get spidered soon :)

Thanks adore.

What puzzles me the most is that it has been up at least three weeks and my site is being crawled at least every other day. I don't understand why they wouldn't pick it up.

Ahhhh, patience is not my virtue :-)

The G god has been extraordinarily slow indexing new sites at least since the beginning of the year. I've got a new site with lots of content and about 25 backlinks from good sites, but G has only indexed the home page and hasn't picked up any of the backlinks. It's been up almost three months.

I've heard a theory that the billion new pages that G recently added have not yet been fully indexed. If that's true, we could see a catch-up with the next update.

Hi Tech,

I had no idea that this was going on with Google. But that doesn't surprise me. I am not happy to hear it is happening with you as well, but hope you are right it will update next time around.

I am on a newsgroup and the word is the crawlers are out hot and heavy right now...cross fingers.

I cruise several forums, but just recently joined this one. Google's lack of crawling past the home page for newer sites is a common theme. I used to watch new sites get fully indexed in a couple of weeks, but that would be a rare in 2004.

Let's just hope this is just a backlog situation that will correct itself shortly.

Craig
