How to Update SERPS description

Google has some 2 year old outdated meta tag description as my SERPS description on competitive keyword.

How can I change it

Change that meta tag or change your content. If you pay attention, depending on the keyword you´re using to search, that snippet changes as well. What is shown exist in the indexed version of your page. Is your indexed version of 2 years ago?

You may optimize some of your tags in your blog the way you optimize websites, posting some interesting stuffs would always work for blogs and social bookmarks help people find those posts.

if you doing on page optimization then you have admin panel like ftp etc then you can change your description.

Hi Pal,

Well your description must be coming from Dmoz. You can send a request to modify the listings with them. Try re-submitting the Google sitemap. How often is your site being crawled?

While you are rewriting your tag you might want to use it for branding your business. You might want to also include a call to action.
