Question ISAPI URL Rewriting ????

I have just recently added an ISAPI filter to my site and have rewritten all internal links to use the ISAPI filter. My Issue is that all google traffic has stopped! I am still in the index however it seems as though all pageRank has been removed. On results where I was on page 1 I am now found on Page 200. My Question really, is this normal and how long will it take for pageRank to catch up? Was this a mistake? the reason I added the ISAPI filter was to allow for more relevant meta URLs into the Site. An example URL that has been rewritten
http://myservicelocator.com/searchre...ubcat=9&rad=12
This URL has a 401 redirect to a new page, prior to serving the new page the url is picked up by the filter and rewritten.

Default Re: ISAPI URL Rewriting ????

I'm presuming you mean 301 redirect not 401. In my experience 301ing a domain has been pretty good for me with only slight dips in positioning which were temporary. Changing the url may have upset the apple cart a bit so I would wait and see how things settle down. How long ago did you make the changes?

I have been looking into ISAPI url rewriting on windows for a while now. Is your hosting server dedicated or shared? If it's shared how have you gone about installing the ISAPI filter?
