Cool Google vs Cuil.com

Hi All,

Recently i heard about cuil.com and made some R&D work. These are the points i found

1. Cuil.com is content oriented sites in their results.
2. Its non-commercial search engine
3. Results are more descriptive
4. Cuil.com lacks special tabs like news, videos etc.,
5. Text oriented search engine

Please add some more points. Thanks in advance for your reply

Regards
Subhzash

Their GUI is somewhat refreshing. I like the colors and I like the “Explore by Category” box that breaks down information related to your search into categories. I think the entire interface is well done. However, I certainly think that the returned results leave something to be desired. Many of the searches that I did returned completely unrelated results on the first page, which would indicate an issue with the ranking algorithms.
All said and done, there's a lot of work to be done by Cuil if it wants to be a serious competitor of Google.

I also found the UI interesting... I liked it.. However, I did some searching and didn't like what I was getting back. I don't know much about how they categorize the Internet or what their search is really doing... I guess all like the search engines we use the most

I haven't really used it that much, but many people are saying that this is the search engine to give google a run for its money.

Personally I find the images annoying. Mostly because they're random, and aren't associated with the site it is shown beside.

The result count's are not exact. when it says there are 8 results found then it shows 3-4.

I don't understand how it displays the images (behind the text) which are not in the website.

I think cuil could not overtake google,in fact,i have never heard cuil before. And it would have no market in China.
