Default Keyword Research using Google Adwords

Is it a good idea to use Google Adwords to help determine what keywords to target?

In my Adwords account it will give me estimates on search results for specific keywords.....does anyone know if this is accurate or would Keyword Discovery or Wordtracker be better?

Thank you

Sure why not? No keyword tool is an "accurate" indication of traffic that you will get.

I wouldn't tell to use exclusively for AdWords Google Insights for Search but that you can get some insight of present and raising searched terms in general.

One thing no keyword targeting program can provide is "what will convert for you" which is where your instincts will be a great initial tool - and a free one.

I'm just using google suggestion tool for keywords variation then I choose related keywords from variation then check the traffic of each keywords in keyword discovery tool.

The Google KW tool is a great place to get various sources of information for what KW's to target. I agree with a few above that you shouldn't JUST use the Google tool.

It's a very nice tool to assist you in your KW research along with other outstanding tools out there that can be used in conjunction with G KW tool.

So, yes, a great tool to use, but use other also to round out your research.
